  11. MAY 24                       RADIOLOGICAL SERIES UPDATE - This program will
  12. 11:00AM-3:30PM               provide instructors with new information, review
  13.                              of materials, exercises, etc. for newly developed
  14.                              and revised courses in the radiological training
  15.                              series.

  17. JUNE 14                      ANIMALS IN DISASTERS - This program will provide
  18. 11:00AM-4:30PM               information on the issues and responsibilities of
  19.                              caring for pets, domestic livestock and wildlife
  20.                              affected by disaster.  The presenters will be
  21.                              well-known experts in the field of animal care
  22.                              and veterinary medicine, who have experience in
  23.                              disasters.

  25. AUGUST 2                     DISABILITIES AND DISASTER:  FIVE YEARS OF ADA
  26. 11:00AM-3:30PM               IMPLEMENTATION - This program will focus on
  27.                              "lessons learned" and accomplishments in emergency
  28.                              management and disaster response.  Among topics
  29.                              to be discussed will be:  How the Fire Service
  30.                              and other emergency management professions have
  31.                              met the ADA challenge; and the coalitions being
  32.                              built between emergency management agencies and
  33.                              the disability community.

  35. AUGUST 30                    RAPID ASSESSMENT - This program will discuss the
  36. 2:00PM-4:00PM                local, State and federal government roles in
  37.                              rapidly assessing damage following a disaster to
  38.                              save and sustain lives.  Rapid assessment is
  39.                              needed to prioritize response activities,
  40.                              allocate scarce resources, and request specific
  41.                              assistance from outside the local jurisdictions.

  43. SEPTEMBER 20                 DONATIONS MANAGEMENT - This broadcast will
  44. 2:00PM-3:30PM                concentrate on training State and local emergency
  45.                              management personnel, corporations, voluntary
  46.                              agencies, civic clubs, and elected officials on
  47.                              effective donations management techniques.
  48.                              Discussed will be donations strategy, concept of
  49.                              operations, public awareness and preplanning
  50.                              factors, and donations coordinator team functions.

  53. Additional broadcasts currently are in planning stages, and updated schedules
  54. will be provided periodically.
